My name is Xolani Narrow Beech Nwanneka, and I am a Spatial Navigator.

The Black Spleenwort seems to have been set down by some of the noblest pilots of our bloodline. There they found a large continent, in the centre of which was a plain whereon they saw fires in every direction. The Nwanneka of the Desert was active in those days, prior to the discoveries made there.

This area is said to be the resort of thieves and receivers of stolen goods.

They manufacture the kitty-katty, an art almost lost from use in days long gone by. It is a geographic instrument made from an old filbert-berry bladder, covered in a patented paraffin oil tin. The Nwanneka are the last of the real old City merchant houses, traveling two or three together, like those the sailors call The Sisters.
